Compatibility with Object Cache Pro (OCP)

I can not comment on it, we have not started working on this feature yet

I think you can actually try and see, anything I say won’t be accurate since we’ve never run this framework ourselves. you need config get to see how redic max memory eviction policies are configured

you will need to configure Dragonfly similarly

How can I send this to you more privately. Not sure such info should be sent in an open forum

i just dm’ed you

thanks!

Hi again Roman,

We need to load up uBuntu 22.04, so there is a little bit of work to do re putting all the pre-requisites in place

So nothing to share on that the Nextcloud instance yet.

However, I have a query regarding. our production site. Currently we have a main server, which has a remote db server containg the mysql/mariadb and nothing else.
I was wondering whether the DB Server should also be running in memory cache. The DB. server has 256GB Ram the spec below. Given that the DB’s server resource is. quite large, should we be also be running DFDB as an in memory on the DB server??
Mainboard…: ProLiant DL325 Gen10
CPU…: AMD EPYC 7402 24-Core Processor
Memory…: DDR4 3200MHz 256GB (4 x 64GB 3200MHz RDIMM)
Disk 1…: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB
Disk 2…: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB
RAID…: Software RAID 1
OS…: AlmaLinux release 8.8 (Sapphire Caracal)
Control Panel…: No Control Panel
IPs…: 1 Vlan IP (/30)
Bandwidth…: 150Tb (10Gb Port)

I have just read a piece explaining that in cache memory. would not be in the db server - so let me let that one slide unless you think differently.
Thanks
