And the reason I store channels separately is because I need to update individual channel over time, so I can’t really get the whole guild object, set in it every single time I guess
I will open an issue based on our discussion. But - it’s a huge task. The good news it’s doable
Great to hear, but the bad news would be when I guess haha, any idea?
Not yet. I am building the team right now. I will add to 2023 plans - that I can promise
Still better than nothing, but I need an immediate solution and no idea where to go <:WhyMe:756142729141944500>
Do you have any suggestions probably?
mongodb?
Redis seems to match my needs, except I want it to utilize all of my cores
did you try keydb ?
I would’ve gone for psql if I was into dbs, these things I store I wanted them to be as fast as possible and persistent, so that won’t match my need I guess
Haven’t, I’ll have a look at it
they are not as fast as dragonfly but they claim to work with Redis modules. Maybe it will fit your needs for meanwhile
do you mind if I convert our conversation into a task?
Sure
As long as I have json and search support there, it’s great but yea, I’ll also google like “redis drop in alternatives” or even other dbs that stores in mem if needed
For now, I gtg and will look into keydb, can let you know in <#981533931960676364> if it works for my needs or not if you wish
that’s ok, it’s enough I sent you to “competitors”, no need to advertise them in <#981533931960676364> ![]()
Kinda guessed the response lol, just thought you might want to know but anyway, alright, and cya
you are welcome to dm me of course!
Also, some ping roles for <#981765132814270484> would be great
